Our Career Talks are designed to inspire young people from an early age to see people from different industries decoding their roles, while Speed Mentoring allows them to start believing in what’s possible by listening to role models from different industries and asking them questions about their careers. Through our mentoring programmes, young people are matched with professionals who provide guidance, practical advice, and real-world insight into their chosen industries. Our work experience placements further support this by offering hands-on exposure to professional environments, helping students build confidence and understand what goes on in the workplace and also work etiquette.
The impact of this approach can be seen in success stories like Moyo’s. Through Urban Synergy’s support, mentoring, and career exposure opportunities, Moyo gained the confidence and direction to pursue an apprenticeship with Amazon.
