Five of our alumni mentees completed a summer intership at Dynamic Planner. This award winning FinTech company is the market leading digital financial planning advice platform and also one of our Corporate partners. The summer work experience placements were in Product Development, Project Management, Finance and Commercial, Marketing and Human Resources.
All of the Urban Synergy Alumni interns: Ann-Marie, Favour, Oluferanmi, Yomitha and Samuel enjoyed the experience and Samuel added:
"This internship has been nothing short of eye-opening. Beyond technical skills I learned that finance isn’t just numbers - it’s about teamwork, problem solving and trust. A standout highlight was having an informative lunch with CEO Ben Goss where I gained valuable insights about leadership and the future of the industry. It was lovely to reconnect with the other Urban Synergy interns."
Yomitha also talked about his experience as an intern at Dynamic Planner:
"Myself and the other interns had the privilege of having lunch with the CEO Ben Goss, someone I now see as a true role model. What truly inspired me was Ben’s leadership style. Even as interns we were given a seat at the table, listened to and valued. The conversation with Ben and the other interns was full of insight, encouragement and laughter. We were not just satisfied with the food but more motivated for the journey ahead. It wasn’t just lunch - it was a masterclass talk."
Ann-Marie added:
