NigelRole Model Seminars

Celebrating International Women's Day with a panel of inspiring female role models, leaving the Lewisham primary inspired and buzzing with excitement.
This year, St Augustine's Primary School celebrated International Women's Day early on Friday 7th March, with a panel of inspiring female role models, leaving the Lewisham primary inspired and buzzing with excitement.

Inspiring female role models share their stories

The panelists shared their stories, experiences, and advice with 180 primary students, highlighting the importance of education, determination, and resilience in achieving their goals.

The event was a huge success, with students engaging in lively discussions and asking thoughtful questions in the classrooms afterwards with each of the panel. The panelists' inspiring stories left a lasting impact on the students, encouraging them to strive for their dreams and break down gender stereotypes. One student actually said that Helena's Audit job was something he now aspired to and wasn’t aware of it before!

St Augustine's Primary School is committed to empowering young girls and providing them with positive role models to look up to. By celebrating International Women's Day, the school aims to inspire the next generation of female leaders and change-makers.
