DMG Media co-hosted a Corporate Insight Day with Urban Synergy at their office in Kensington with 30 Year 12 (16-17 year old) students from St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College based in West London.
The students heard about the career journeys from panellists featuring the Global Publisher of Sport, Director of Product, Commercial, Managing Director of Eliza, the Director of Project Management and Digital Delivery and the Head of Audience Development. The students then speed mentored with some of the panellists and other professionals at DMG Media from various roles/department who shared top tips and career pathways.
The students also took part in a sports task - an interactive segment where the DMG Media volunteers also shared insights into their modern multimedia platform within the sports team. The media students found the event really helpful in deciding which parts of the business they would like to focus on and rated the event 4.5/5 and 100% of the students learned what skills are valued in the workplace.
