Urban Synergy recently cohosted an engaging Insight Day at MFS Investment Management, a global asset management firm committed to innovative investment solutions and an inclusive workplace. Thirty students from St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College explored careers in finance, gained insights into corporate culture, and developed practical workplace skills at their London offices.

The day began with a warm welcome and an introduction to MFS, highlighting the company’s core values and inclusive corporate culture. Students also participated in a Personal Branding session, gaining practical tools to present themselves confidently in professional settings.

Through Q&A and interactive discussion, students explored career paths in finance, the skills required to succeed, and the real-world experiences of these role models. The session showcased the importance of soft skills, mentorship, guidance, and representation in helping young people envision their future careers.
