Urban Guides is a training and mentoring programme aimed at people who want to become urban tour guides conducting local heritage walks, guided town centre tours, supporting and entertaining local, regional, national and international tourists who visit East London.
We aim to organise a 12 session OCN Level 2 accredited training course (GCSE grade C) that will provide skills such as storytelling, confidence building, public speaking, time keeping, managing tours, local history, setting up and running a business, marketing and promotion and managing your finance and tax.
