On 4th October 2022, Urban Synergy were invited to attend the Goldman Sachs Black History Month event.
It was a fantastic evening where mentees got to hear from British actor Adjoa Andoh who talked about how, as a Black woman passionate about diversity and inclusion, race, gender and disability has impacted her life and career and what we can all do to continue to empower one another.
Six of our mentees came along to enjoy the event, and one was even brave enough to ask Adoja a question during the Q&A!
Mentees also got to attend a meet and greet with Darren Allaway, managing director in Goldman Sachs Apex, and member of Urban Synergy’s corporate advisory board.
