The Tesco Management Development Programme (MDP) is a professional and personal development programme that provides life-skills training in key competencies and skills, such as task management, team working and communication. It also offers employment support, CV building, completing application forms, interview techniques and the opportunity to apply the skills through an internship within a specific department in Tesco.

Benefits

Two residential seminars
Two 1 day seminars
Paid 6 week internship in a Tesco head office function or store (July-August 2009)
Mentoring programme with senior Tesco managers
A programme which gives participants the opportunity to acquire the key competencies and skills needed to have a successful career with Tesco

Eligibility


In the penultimate year of an undergraduate degree programme
From an Asian, Black or minority ethnic group
Minimum 240 UCAS Points
Have unlimited rights to live and work in the UK Student Visas are not eligible
Able to commit to all parts of the Programme
