We are looking for help with the following, click to expand:

    • Can you provide a Central London Venue? [posted 24th April, 2010]

      Venue 1 – Urban Synergy Annual fundraiser, October 2010

      • Licenced venue with stage to support a live band
      • Capacity for minimum of x 500 people
      • Central London
      • Audio visual equipment including use of plasmas / large screens
      • We would like to host this event on a Saturday evening
      • Access from 6pm, to close at 2am

      Venue 2 – Commercial kitchen / dining facilities?

      • We would like to organise a cookery workshop for our mentees this summer! Do you have a large kitchen that we could use?
      • Do you also have dining facilities for our mentees to host a thank you dinner for some of our existing supporters?
      • We’re looking for a large enough kitchen for approximately 10 mentees and their adult supervisors
      • Dining capacity space for approximately x 40 persons seated at tables

      Urban Synergy wishes to reward star mentees who have excelled and achieved all of the goals which have been set for them. Can you donate a new laptop to assist a star mentee with his or her studies?

      Are you able to provide telco services to the core Urban Synergy team for us to be better connected? Urban Synergy is seeking sponsorship from a telecoms firm who can provide our small committee and administration team with mobile phones.

    • Marketing volunteer [posted 24th April 2010] This position has now been filled.
      The Urban Synergy team is looking for a marketeer to come on board asap, initially for a 4 – 6 month period! Are you already working in an integrated marketing role? Do you want to give something back to your community by using your expertise in a voluntary capacity for a couple of spare hours per week? Are you looking for a project that you can really get your teeth into? Urban Synergy has its sight set on focused delivery of services this year and the way we communicate on and offline is pivotal to our growth. If you’re adept at communicating, passionate about helping young people and possess a general marcomms / integrated background that includes email, direct marketing, social media and collateral, we’d love to hear from you. Urban Synergy has a busy timetable of activities that we are scheduled to deliver throughout 2010 and as a voluntary organisation, we rely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters. On this page, we’ll list items and requests that we need specific help to fulfil – you or your company or another organisation may be able to help or you may know someone who can help… So please get in touch and any assistance you can give will be received gratefully. With your support Urban Synergy can make a real difference to the lives of our mentees.
