On July 3rd, Urban Synergy hosted delivered Speed Mentoring at Addey & Stanhope School in New Cross, London. The event engaged 240 students aged 11-13, providing them with key career insights into a variety of professions and the essential skills required for each.
Corporate volunteers shared their career journeys, and students had the opportunity to ask questions, including which school subjects are relevant to specific roles.
Volunteers included a team from Goldman Sachs who volunteered as part of their Community Teamworks event, also volunteers from London Stock Exchange, Ernst & Young, Citi, PwC, former government policy advisors and a medical student.
