London, UK – Urban Synergy, the award-winning youth empowerment and social mobility charity, is redefining how and where young professionals connect. This year’s Golf Day 2025, held on 15th May at The Shire London, is more than a sporting event — it’s a bold step towards recognising where business networking happens and making that accessible to all.

Recognising that the old rules of networking are being rewritten, Urban Synergy is putting golf back in play as part of a new mix of meaningful networking opportunities.

The event will spotlight the power of mentorship, skill building, social mobility, and professional connection — welcoming young people of all backgrounds and business leaders, with a special focus on encouraging more young people to take their place on the fairway.

"The future of networking looks different — and so it should," says Leila Thomas, CEO & Founder of Urban Synergy. "We’re creating spaces where real relationships and new skills are built, and young talent can meet business leaders and learn from golf teachers who look like them."

Urban Synergy’s Golf Day 2025 is delighted to have the input of Ray Nyabola, the founder of Black British Golfers teaching Urban Synergy’s young people how to play golf for their future networking and sporting needs, and the stewardship of golfer O’Neil Howell during the event.

Funds raised from the Golf Day will directly support Urban Synergy’s mentoring programmes, helping to build a work-ready pipeline.
