Urban Synergy delivered a speed mentoring event helping Year 9 students at Addey & Stanhope School with GCSE option day.
Students got to meet Urban Synergy Role Models from companies including: BlackRock, PwC, Lloyds Banking Group, Coppelia Machine Learning, Box and also had insights to job roles including; Lawyers, Analysts, Data Scientists, Sales, Diversity & Inclusion and various roles in the finance sector included Financial Crime, asset management, infrastructure & construction.
The students said the event was ‘insightful’ especially as they were due to select subjects on their GCSE option day the following week. Many of the students felt they could make some more considered choices on the subjects they will select based on the knowledge gained at the event and their interactions with employees from a variety of organisations.
