Urban Synergy exists to build an equitable world where everyone, regardless of their background, is empowered to write their own future.

Fundraising ideas for companies

Many companies will match any fundraising by employees offering you a great way to quickly and easily double (or more) the donation.

  • Payroll Giving: Maximise staff donations by making them tax efficient.
  • Coffee Morning: Host a coffee morning at work, ask guests to donate for coffee and snacks.
  • Dress up, or down day: Invite staff to dress down or dress up, and make a donation.
  • Hospitality Events: Make Urban Synergy your chosen charity, help spread the word to your clients and business partners.
  • Bake sale: Host your own baking competition, donate proceeds to Urban Synergy.
  • Birthday fundraiser: Why not ask friends or family to donate instead of buying birthday gifts?
  • Kick a habit: Give up smoking or chocolate and raise funds.
  • Quiz night: Host a quiz night, staff donate to enter the quiz.
  • Sporting challenge: Enter a park run, cycle, swim or just walk, a great way to stay healthy and fundraise.

Fundraising ideas for schools

Schools often encourage students to give back, volunteer or fundraise for local charities. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Dress down day: Tired of your school uniform? Collect donations and wear your favourite trainers to school!
  • Fancy dress day: Go further, dress up and raise money from friends and teachers.
  • Fun run or sponsored walk: Set yourself a challenge to walk or run a few miles, feel great and fundraise.
  • Bake sale: Have a baking competition with friends.
  • Talent competition or concert: If your school has an annual talent competition or concert, donate ticket sales to Urban Synergy.
  • Book sale: Why not sell your old books and raise some cash for a great cause?
