Urban Synergy Safeguarding Policy

Safeguarding the welfare of young people aged 9 to 24 is of paramount importance to us. Due to the nature of our programmes and interactions with young people, it is essential that we maintain a safeguarding and child protection policy tailored to our unique work, ensuring their utmost protection and wellbeing.

We are wholly committed to promoting their welfare and working in a way that consistently safeguards them.

Purpose of this policy

To protect children and young people who engage with Urban Synergy services and programmes.

To provide staff, volunteers, and all associates with the guiding principles, checks and training that underpin our approach to safeguarding and child protection.

This policy is applicable to all adults working with or on behalf of Urban Synergy, including employees, volunteers, mentors, and placement supervisors. Some aspects may apply specifically to certain groups. All relevant individuals will be made aware of this policy and informed of how to access it.
