Urban Synergy were inspiring future careers with SimCorp at their London office, welcoming 30 students aged 16-18 from Christ the King Sixth Form, St Mary's. This corporate insight day aimed to broaden students' understanding of the financial industry and the diverse roles within SimCorp.
The day began with a presentation by Dean McIntyre, Global Head of Commercial, who shared his career journey and responsibilities at SimCorp. A panel of career role models then offered insights into their own experiences and provided top tips for the students.

The corporate insight day had a significant impact, students rated the event 4.8/5, 100% learned about a new career path, and discovered valuable workplace skills. One student, Kehinde, shared on LinkedIn: "Look for a career portfolio not a career trajectory” - those were the words that Melissa Reichow left me with - it was a wonderful day.”
The event concluded with speed mentoring sessions, where SimCorp volunteers from various departments engaged with small groups of students, answering questions and providing further career guidance.
