Urban Synergy joined St Augustine’s Primary School in Lewisham this August for a special Black History Month careers seminar.
More than 120 young minds, aged 8 to 11, had the chance to meet these inspiring professionals:
- Nicole Onye, Finance Specialist at M&G Investments
- Colin Donaldson, Commercial Pilot
- Ethan Shakespeare-Richards, Firefighter at Battersea
From trying on firefighter gloves to learning about flight destinations and saving money, the students were buzzing with excitement.
The day was more than an assembly—it was a chance to see future career possibilities up close.
A teacher rated the event 5/5, sharing: “It’s inspiring for our students to meet real professionals and hear about the different paths they can take in life.”
