Frequently Asked Questions
Priority will be given to students who meet the socio-economic criteria from the following list:
- Have been looked after/accommodated in care.
- Come from a single-parent family.
- Have a household income below £40,000 or be in receipt of income-related benefits.
- Have received free school meals at any time during your education.
- Have a limited tradition of attending university within your family.
- Require financial support to attend university due to family circumstances.
- Reside in a neighbourhood with a low rate of progression to higher education and/or high levels of socio-economic deprivation.
- Attend a school with below-average attainment levels for GCSE or A-levels.
- Have attended a school or college with a higher than average proportion of students receiving free school meals.
- Experience other economic or social disadvantages not listed above (please provide details in your application).
