For some, it might be too early to begin thinking about the festive season. However, pupils at Hawksmoor Primary School in Greenwich & St Augustine’s Primary School in Lewisham have got their paints and pencils at the ready to submit Christmas card designs.

The Year 6 (10-11 year olds or generation Alpha) are creating an image to show what Christmas means to them.

The winning design will be selected by TheCityUK’s CEO Miles Celic and appear with the Urban Synergy logo.

The winning Christmas card (last year’s shown here by Chimamaka from St Augustine’s Primary School) will be sent to all of TheCityUK’s members with the talented young artists' name.

Even if you have yet to think about Christmas, look out for the fantastic design on our website and social media pages where it will be featured.

“Urban Synergy goes into primary schools, where raising aspirations and broadening career horizons of generation Alpha is key, especially in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths)..

“We all need opportunities to showcase our skills and to blossom, and CityUK’s competition is perfect in this regard,” says Urban Synergy CEO and Founder Leila Thomas. “Thanks to the children and to CityUK for raising our profile to financial service companies - and we look forward to creating more partnerships with them in 2025 to increase social mobility.”
