The Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme recognises outstanding young people aged 11-25 across London and Essex.
Four Urban Synergy young people have shown incredible dedication, talent, and growth through our mentoring programme, with some even securing life-changing roles at leading companies like PwC and Thomson Reuters.
On October 8th, mentees Jadon Black and Angel Lowe attended the awards at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley. Jadon has also been featured on the Jack Petchey Foundation website, talking about his journey titled "The Power of Role Models: How Black Leaders Shaped Jadon’s Journey".
The evening was filled with inspiring stories, exciting musical performances, and special awards presented by TeamGB Olympian Donna Fraser. These young people are a testament to the power of mentoring and how it can unlock incredible opportunities for the future.
Jadon Black - Recently started his Management Consultant apprenticeship at PwC
Angel Lowe - Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters through an internship via Urban Synergy’s partnership with Thomson Reuters
Selah Battles - Recently completed her 4 week internship as part of our joint Dream big programme with WTW and is keen on securing an apprenticeship at WTW.
Polatcan Halil - was awarded as Urban Synergy Alumni.
